Stable Uptake

In the aftermath following the second world war, a new front began in the hills of eastern Tennessee. Tucked within the folds of the Oak Ridge mountains and Clinch River Valley was and still is a site dedicated to atomic exploration. Stable Uptake narrates the strange intersection of radiological and biological experiments at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory from the late 50s to the 70s. Regulatory frameworks and national security veils suggests a deeper consideration to the land, people, and research of the area and time.
